LG.Philips tests LCD production line
Yesterday, we posted a story about a new gigantic factory that LG.Philips is building to house a new LCD production line. Well, they just fired up a recently completed production line for testing yesterday. What does that mean for you and me? A bigger LCD selection! Eventually prices will drop but do not except that yet, we will see a bigger selection from different brands that this company owns first. This plant will be able to produce 90,000 panels at full capacity.
Plus, when the other new plant opens, there will be an even bigger selection. The large panel LCD invasion is about to begin.
