The golden Game Boy - old skool
We're really finding ourselves short on bling-esque terms to ascribe to this golden
Game Boy; suffice it to say that the
bling has arrived, and it has made its dwelling among this old skool, b&w screened, beast of a unit. The whole
shebang weighs in at 27 ounces, and is made of 18K solid gold, along with diamonds surrounding the screen and set in
the on/off buttons. Better start saving up those gangsta'pennies of yours though, (you know, the ones with Lincoln in a
du-rag) this piece is going for a nice 25 grand.
[Thanks, Max]

All that money and they don't know how to do professional photography? j/k!!
All kidding aside, I'm not sure if that's a stupendous waste of gold/money or something I'd love to have in a display case at home.

perfect present for that she-geek you run into at the office now and then.
Spooky @ Dec 19th 2005 2:31AM
Bugly!, now if it was platinum and a GB Micro then I would be all over it. It could match my platinum rings, spinner medallion, and my pimped out escalade.
*J/K i'm not into that scene at all :-p

What perfect timing, just this morning I realized that I have $25,000 just sitting here that I don't really need... this will solve the problem perfectly!

Okay, I've had it up to here with BLING. I'd rather own a $25 gadget with real *syle* than that gaudy $25k monstrosity. Or anything else dubbed "bling," for that matter -- just because gold and diamonds are expensive doesn't mean they're attractive to look at in a large quantity. I have yet to find a single piece of bling that actually looks pleasing to the eye. Why can't this stupid fad just go away and make room for the plastic stuff that actually looks cool? Let the designers do their jobs!!

This is like the Game Boy for the bling bling rap & hip-hop superstars, like Master's P son :)
Or maybe we'll see Paris Hilton with this, the same way we saw her with the Xbox 360.
Oshi @ Dec 19th 2005 2:31AM
Hang that bad boy from a gold chain and you'll be the big balla on your block!

The Boyz in the Hood are always hard, bringin their game boys to the yard.
Quentin @ Dec 19th 2005 2:31AM
Why do an old school Game Boy? Why not a GBASP or A DS?
Av4rice @ Dec 19th 2005 2:31AM
Shouldn't that be "doo-rag"? As in a rag for your hairdoo?
peptidefarmer @ Dec 19th 2005 2:31AM
"...b&w screened..."
Technically, the color palette is black and green, not black and white.
Av4rice @ Dec 19th 2005 2:31AM
#16, I don't think the LCD pixels are perfect black either. So wouldn't that make it light green and dark green?

Wow... thats so.... ugly. and unnecessary.
