1080p on the Sharp LC-45GD7U?
Scanning though my feeds this morning, I noticed that Suhit over at Digital Media Thoughts was wondering if the Sharp LC-45GD7U was 1080p-display capable. To be honest, without the Play Station 3 and it's 1080p support or a true 1080p input, it's difficult to test. Suhit noticed that the product specs on Sharp's site indicate that the set diplays full HD in 1920 x 1080 in a progressive format, but some folks don't think so. There's also no word on if it could take 1080p as an input.
How about it: do we have any HD Beat readers that own this AQUOS set or work somewhere that they have access to it? Let's send a little holiday cheer over to Digital Media Thoughts and help Suhit out, shall we?
