LG P7200 RAZR knockoff reviewed

LG P7200

LG's P7200 — the company's belated, derided RAZR knockoff — didn't exactly wow us when we checked it out back in August. But, then, we were unabashedly judging it on looks alone, and weren't afraid to declare it to be "significantly uglier and thicker" than the phone it sought to emulate. MobileBurn, however, has decided to actually check the phone out and see if it has any redeeming values. And guess what? Looks like ugly is only skin deep, because, once you get past the phone's lack of sex (or any other) appeal, MobileBurn actually found a few things to like, including good "still image, video, and music quality," along with "well above average" phone functions, including "top notch" sound quality, and an "excellent" speakerphone. Of course, with a phone like this, looks do matter, and we think MobileBurn was being charitable by pointing out that "LG clearly has not put much effort" into giving the phone a distinctive design.
