Asono's DAB1
We don’t normally do a whole lot up when it comes to DAB, but we’re quickly becoming devoted watchers of Asono’s moves, and we’re not going to deny our fondness for their new DAB1 (due in 2006). Sure it does the whole FM and digital terrestrial radio with EPG thing, but it also rocks PlaysForSure, MP3s, and has a SD slot, USB On-The-Go (via mini-USB plug), lines in and out, and Asono’s standard dashing good looks. It’ll retail for €200 (about $240 US), but you’d only really have reason to buy one if you’ve got DAB service in your area — which you don’t if you live in the States.
