Video feature: Viewsonic's mini projector

Viewsonic is flaunting their new mini projector at CES, and while they haven't officially decided a release date, they did decide they wanted to show it to us. We interviewed them at Digital Experience, and now you get a chance to check out a really tiny SVGA projector.

I wonder how hot that little thing will get?
With LED it shouldn't get too hot... I would imagine it would be quiet too eh? This is the whole idea behind the new Samsung LED 1080p set isn't it?
Bright, vivid colors. No bad pixels. Great value for a cheap projector.
Very nice :)
Thats actually really cool. I just wish they could make something just like it but with 720p or 1080i.
How does the brightness look on a led projector though? Can it be viewed in a well lit room?
Brightness isn't a problem for SVGA projectors like this one.
OMG, I want that thing!
I would wager that the projector Samsung had at their booth is even smaller (5"x3.72"x2"). Here's a snapshot I took with specs visible: http://rmannion.com/temp/projector_small.jpg -- As you can see, it was even a CES Innovations Plus Honoree.
Viewsonic PJ1060 seems to be the same as the Premier PD-S682 ?

The Samsung SP-P300ME specs look more impressive though...

#8, Ryan, did you see the ANSI Lumen on that thing? 25??? Is this something you have to shine directly into your eye? :)
Remember, a 60 Watt regular lamp gives you 730 ANSI Lumen. I imagine you need a pitch black room to be able to see that Samsung image.
And in the video, the guy also said something about LEDs having to become brighter...
It is so small, i would buy one.
If Nintendo's proposed/alleged "projector video games" console isn't something like this I'll be very dissapointed.
