Ah, it's ok, you can admit that you forgot our birthday. It's not too late to send us gift basket or
anything, but you know how we roll here at Engadget, and so to celebrate our 2nd anniversary we're blowing it out with
seven days of giveaways.
We're kicking things off with chance to win a
brand new Slingbox. Winning this fine prize is easy: just tell us what's your favorite Engadget post of the past year.
It can be anything (except this post): a regular post, an interview, a how-to, a review, or whatever, just post a
comment below with a link to it along with a couple of lines about why it's your fave and we'll pick a winner at
random. Three runners-up will each win an Engadget t-shirt.
A couple of things:
1.
You
can only enter each day's contest once. If you post more than once you'll be automatically disqualified and barred from
all future giveaways. (Yes, we're checking thoroughly to ensure fairness.)
2.
You can only
win once. (If you win and go for a second prize, you'll be automatically disqualified and barred, etc.)
3.
Contests are open to anyone, anywhere. Unless you work for Engadget or Weblogs, Inc.
We'll keep comments open for about 24 hours, best of luck to everyone and thanks for all of your support for
these past two years!
My favorite post was your interview with Bill Gates, those are always pretty interesting.

Mac Book Pro Announcement!
Happy Birthday, when are we going drinking?
http://www.engadget.com/2006/03/03/audio-broadcast-flag-legislation-could-ban-home-recording/ is my favorite because the picture made me think about ripping the speaker out of the radio and installing a line-out jack. Take that 'the man.'
...um... I ain't too proud to beg.
Happy Birthday Engadget!
I want one.
My Favs have to be the Billy Gates interviews..You know he is a avid engadget regular. Nice to see a "un-polished" interview
It has to be the one about BillG being an avid Engadget reader ;)

so much more than what jobs can do! lol...
Out of the recent posts it would have to be the WWJD 3 winners article. Some great submissions there.
I like this one: http://www.engadget.com/2006/03/03/a-brief-history-of-handheld-video-games/
My favorite post was PSP2 ideas, those were pretty interesting.
I ENJYED THE ENGADGET POST FROM THE PAST, WITH ALL THE 70'S - 80'S GADGETS FORGOT THE NAME BUT THAT WAS AMAZING.
i hope i win
Coolness!
Iain :)
gimme gimme
It had to be the live coverage of the Google Keynote with Robin Williams. I don't think I've ever hit my browser's refresh button so many times in a 45 minute span. Actually, I'm not sure I want to admit that I am so eager about technology. So, please, disregard this posting.

I liked the T-shirt contest post.
You can't win if you don't post a link! And if you just post something from today, you're not going to win either!
I'd have to say that the Keepin it real, Fake. I like those a lot because I have been to china multiple times and I have seen a lot of that stuff, so I can connect.
Happy birthday!

Steve Jobs SNL Skit! Best ever
Hard to believe it's been nearly a year since I got hooked on this site! It was all because of your PSP hacks that got me into Engadget. So I nominate your PSP hacks roundup post: http://www.engadget.com/2005/03/31/psp-hacks-roundup/
Thanks for teaching me how to hack my toys!
The post about the Gizmondo exec/president crashing his Ferarri Enzo. would have been top news story of the month, if it werent for Dick Cheney.
Best of CES 2006 since I didnt get to go :(

I found the sdteve job's clothing line thing to be hillarious. He is the celebrity of geeks everywhere. Some random humor makes this site great!
