More robotic bartending from the Automated Bar

Sure we've seen plenty of automated methods of drink creation and acquisition, but we like to keep an open mind about such things, and this edition by Michael Murphy seems a notable entrant into the category. The Automated Bar is outfitted with 13 pumps that each control their assigned ingredient and together can make around 150 preprogrammed drinks, along with all sorts of customized creations. The whole thing is powered by an old Compaq PIII box running XP and controlled with a single numeric keypad. Michael says the bar cost him around $400, and it costs around $150 in ingredients to get the party started, but he lost track after a while -- it seems more a labour of love. Keep up the good work, Sir.
