London's BBC HDTV trial 'hacked'

So you know that BBC HDTV trial that is going on over in London? Well, some people didn't like that it was by invitation only and hacked it. That's right, hacked it. We don't have the details on exactly how the guy did it but rather what he used. This included a PC installed with a Hauppauge Nova-t DVB-T tuner card and the TSreader software. This allowed him to record the signal and then he had to play it back using another piece of software. Even after all this, the audio and video was jerky on his P4 Extreme Edition. Unfortunately, he is making everyone wait till the next copy of What Video and High Definition TV magazine to get the full story.
