PS3 hits the FCC, Sony still exists

You'd hardly know it, given today's product announcements, but there is a third eensy weensy player in the next-gen console race. Sony hasn't had much good news lately, but we still love 'em anyways, and an FCC approval ain't nothing to scoff at. Of course, there's not much to tell, and the FCC can't show pics of their test setup until October 28th, due to confidentiality agreements. All the same, we're sure some PDF dumpster divers will be able to find something of note, and for those who'd rather not bother: the PS3 is on the way, and the FCC didn't have any problems with the Bluetooth or WiFi showing up in the console.

[Thanks, Sean]
