Podcast listeners: move the show to Thursday?

Hey podcast listeners, we want your opinion: how would you feel about us moving the show to Thursday? We normally record Monday and then post the following day, but due to frequent Monday scheduling constraints it would be an ease up on Pete and I if we could do Wednesdays, and post the show on Thursday. We're not committed to anything -- if you guys really love the Tuesday slot we can keep it, but I figured we should ask since it's you guys who we're recording for. Thanks!
I'm a substantially regular listener to your Podcasts and I really don't see how it could make much of a difference to us listeners. As long as there's new news, then it's all great!

Any day is fine with me, it's not like I have to reset my VCR or tune in at a different time. It shows up in iTunes when it shows up in iTunes.
I don't mind what day of the week guys, hey - as long as you keep up the constant airplane/car horn back noise, I'm a happy man!

I usually end up listening to most of the podcasts when I'm traveling on the weekend. So, any day is cool.
Do what you have to do. I don't care what day the show comes out as long as I get a show every week.
move it, whatever keeps the podcast alive, and it sounds like this would ease the tension of a weekly show, so do it!
i love the podcast, and if it stopped i'd have to start listening to Leo Laporte's iPhone "net"cast *cringe*.

As long as you do not cancel the show its all good. Plus it will give your more stories to talk about so do the show late in the week. We don't care. Keep em coming

Having a regular weekly podcast is more important than what day of the week it is on.

Whatever's clever Ryan. It's your schedule not ours, right everyone? Just please try to have it on a weekly basis with some good info and opinions and smart-aleck comments, 'mkay? Late! (That's "later" for you non-PodF1 listeners).
Thursday is better than Tuesday, since that is when I have time to listen :)
Oddly enough, it would work out better for my podcast-listening if the Engadget podcast was released Thursday. Of course, I just love the show and if it were released on only alternate Sundays and only downloadable in a certain time frame, I'd still make it work, so moving the date of release is really not an issue...
I rarely listen to it right after publication so what ever works for you guys certainly works for this appreciative listener! Keep up the great work.

Who knew you posted on Tuesdays? I time-shift all my podcasts anyways so it makes no difference to me.
What would make a difference is if you would post mp3s instead of aac files, as i am using a non-ipod (sony ericsson p910 symbian smart phone) that doesn't play well with aac and so I have to manually convert your shows. A bit of a pain but worth it.

It fits into my pod-schedule well on tuesday, but if it means a more set-in-stone weekly 'cast then I'm all for it.
as long as its weekly it will be fine. It is the same 7 days in between each show. The only weird week would be the one were you switch. maybe you could record on monday and post a 2 part podcast, one on tues and one on thurs.
Nice. I'd actually appreciate the move to Thursday since it would give you more material and it would also allow me to listen to it at a later time.

I really look forward to listening to the podcast on Tuesday evening on my way home from work. Tuesday seems to be a slow podcast day, which makes it even more special.
I think everyone would agree that if it's easier for you guys and we can still get it every week or even without missing weeks, then anyday is great.
What ever day is good for you is great for me, but please please have an MP3 version availably through RSS.

As long as it's weekly and consistent I don't care which day it comes on. It might be nice since a lot of podcasts come out on Sunday/Monday it would spread out my weekly lineup.
Any day is fine with me but I might suggest that you could do the show on Friday/Saturday or Thursday/Friday. This might allow you to cover more events during the week and if someone does not listen to it until the weekend or Monday they are not likely to miss any news coverage since the there is not much happening on the weekend.
I personally like having it earlier in the week rather than later because I only work monday and wednesdays (doubles, I'm no bum) so if it comes out on Tuesday I have something to listen to on wednesdays. But that's just me, do what works for you guys.
