WiiSaber: Star Wars Kid, do your thing
We've seen the MacSaber, we've seen the DarwiinRemote, now behold the ultimate in nerddom: the WiiSaber. Just like you'd expect, the WiiSaber combines your erratic Wiimote-sensed arm motions with those purtiful lightsaber sound effects built into the MacSaber app for beautiful WiiSaber harmony. But don't take our word for it, just check out the nerds after the break doing what they do best.[Via TUAW]

Woah, the guy in the first video has the coolest room. I'm like totally jealous. Post a link on where to score that sweet star ship room border and that baby blue metal bunk
Unless the force is strong within you, just make sure you use your safety strap, m'kay young Jedi?.
The guy in the fourth video is the single mos intense person I have ever seen.
guy # 1: straight up nerd
#2: looks way too excited and happy about his wiimote making lightsaber noises.
#3: girl in the background is wondering why she's even there and wonders if she can sneak out without the other two attacking her with their "wiisabers"
#4: apparently the force is not strong with this one...he's mistaken the lightsaber for a glostick and thinks he's at a rave.
other then that pretty cool. now if someone goes and tells Mr. Lucas about this to put in the next star wars game for wii..i'm sure the nerds above will be firsts in line.
Wow, now MacBooks will be destroyed, instead of tv's. Still better, though, than the macsaber where you can drop the whole computer.
remember this one, too! http://youtube.com/watch?v=yxDaJoSJJ2o
LET THE DORKAGE BEGIN!
I am now nerdier for having watched that. May God have mercy on my soul...
How much longer 'till it uses the Wiimote speaker? I'm sure it sounds way better coming from a standard audio source, but actually having the vibration, hum, clash effect, and everything come from your hand will be something special. Of course, they've already got toy lightsabers with the motion-activated sounds that clash when they make contact so the Wiimote will still be behind (not to mention, it doesn't have a "beam").
am I the only one that noticed that no one had their wrist protection unit equipped? LOL
Yeah, um the guy in the 4th clearly has it strapped down.
The last guy looks like he has waited his whole life for the ability to make realistic lightsaber sounds. I bet he practiced those moves even before he had a Wii.
Ha, I'm actually the dude in the 2nd video. I was just doing a quick demo of the application to show my brother and friends. Never thought I'd make it onto Engadget for it!
THESE PEOPLE ARE FRIGGIN ACARAZY!
Man, there really needs to be a Windows version of this. I'm sure someone will make one soon enough.
Wear your wristbands! Don't they teach that in schools anymore?
wow i think that last guy was having an aneurysm/stroke/heart attack/seizure all while being extremely constipated.
I am now after reading these comments. Great stuff.
I am totaly dissapointed that no one had a Vader helmet on
I am nerdy for watching those, having never seen a starwars film in my life i don't now much about them but the guy in the fouth movie seems ready to brutaly murder some one, he's so serious!
i can't stop laughin at the 4th dude. made my day man, thanks
And only the 4th guy is wearing a wriststrap...all these imbeciles who are supposedly breaking their sh1t with the wiimote deserve it if they're not wearing it. Dumbass retards.
Hey I am number 3,
never thought I could make it to Engadget *g*
Greetings from Germany :)
Wow, check out #2's cool anime posters. Dork.
gay as hell, but the last guy made my day, so.......sexy
Did you notice that the guys in the first three videos were not wearing their Wii straps? I agree with Whatev that the dude in the fourth video is one of the intense looking gamers I have ever seen.
What's truely funny about this is that half of the people here making fun of them are probably running out to download this app and do the same thing of with their wiimote and make.
Come on people, let's see these videos with a little rotoscoping.
