Nintendo talks Wii Party Evites
Instead of going out to the local sin parlor and imbibing tumbler after tumbler of sin-juice with strangers of the opposite sex, invite your friends and family over to your small studio apartment to play video games! Sure, it's not for everyone, but we're big fans of Wii parties (why do you think Nyko made this frankenstein?).
To help in your efforts to infect the cooler, more socially sophisticated demographics, Nintendo has teamed up with the folks at Evite to promote Wii parties (and planning for them!). GameDaily briefly spoke with Nintendo's Perrin Kaplan who said, "We wanted to contribute to the trend by helping it to grow organically by working with Evite to suggest topics and designs." First on that list are: Mario Party, Family Reunion, and Wii Sports. Other potential party ideas: Minigame Overdose Party and Space Pirate Killing Party.
