The blue Zune does not exist

Photoshop job gone awry? Bad lighting? Dual-shot malfunction? Act of God? Whatever the reason may be, we can tell you one thing: there's no such thing as a blue Zune. If you spent any time on Engadget yesterday, you probably noticed the above photo of a rumored new color, but reports from a Target representative seem to confirm that it's nothing but a trick of the eye / light / Photoshop filter / They Live-esque alien meddling. Please resume your regular activities.

I disagree. I love my iPod just as much as the next guy, but I don't blame someone for getting another player, there are actually a few other good choices on the market now. we mock the zune because it's stupid, you won't see all these "apple flamers" on pages about good DAPs.

They were trying to fight back against the idea they're seriously biased towards apple. As someone who owns products by both Apple (iPod Shuffle 2nd Gen) and Microsoft (2 PCs, XP Pro), I don't see the bias towards Apple on Engadget. There has just been a LOT of Apple news. Useless bitching, I say.

I got the white Zune on woot a couple weeks ago. It's a perfectly good device -- I don't get what the haters' problem is.
