Bleh, low ranked or not, I would have liked it. and no, not being sarcastic. Of course, I wouldn't mind a blue Ipod either.... But it bascially comes down to economics.

Sadly, the blue zune would actually match my car. I just got my gf a white one from woot... she likes it, even if the haters don't.
Ha, I pondered over that purchase all night. The next morning I was still thinkin bout it. I went to work and finally decided that if it was still "I want one!" when I got home I was gunna buy it.. Ofcourse, I missed out..

Blue Zune was just the black one but Engadget obviously has color blindness. No big deal, new Zunes are coming despite all the haters real soon and I get the feeling they're going to one up that iPoo.

I agree. Now if there were a blue Zune and a blue iPod, I think I'd stick with the one with the better shade of blue. :)
I disagree. I love my iPod just as much as the next guy, but I don't blame someone for getting another player, there are actually a few other good choices on the market now. we mock the zune because it's stupid, you won't see all these "apple flamers" on pages about good DAPs.
Have you actually owned a Zune or just going off what other people have said?

It's late and too thick, but the UI is great and the screen is nice.
If this was as thin as the iPod with equal space, I'd get one.
They were trying to fight back against the idea they're seriously biased towards apple. As someone who owns products by both Apple (iPod Shuffle 2nd Gen) and Microsoft (2 PCs, XP Pro), I don't see the bias towards Apple on Engadget. There has just been a LOT of Apple news. Useless bitching, I say.

I kinda like my brown zune with the sweet green tinge to it. So go ahead and cuddle up to your cute "I like to look at myself on the chrome side" nuetral colored Ipod while I rock out to my mud colored zune. It's zunerific!!
