Acousticlobe's Lobie earbud accessory relieves ear pain
We've no idea exactly how well Acousticlobe's Lobie will actually affect the sound quality of your earbuds, but it ought to provide a more comfortable listening experience nonetheless. This interesting canalphone accessory "places the earbud just alongside the wearer's ear without the need to insert the earbud into his / her ear canal," supposedly providing a less invasive way to enjoy your tunes. Additionally, the firm claims that Lobie will provide a "passive secure fit during casual and active uses," so runners should be a-okay, too. The Lobie is available for pre-ordering now in a variety of colors, and should ship in early November for $12 per pair.

kauhnnnnnn!
Now the pain is in the eye of the beholder.
I bet that would work well with the apple Bluetooth... That dang thing just spins in your ear and pretty

This defeats the purpose of in ear monitors. They are buried deep in the canal to place the monitor closer to your ear drum and cancel noise as an ear plug.
Reverse engineering something that is designed to be inside your ear canal is moronic.
I don't think these are for in ear canal-buds like the Shures or Etymotics. I think these are for the POS buds like the ones that come with the iPhone or the cheap Sonys.
Good. I will pick up a pair. I have extremely small ear holes and every ear bud I ever used never fit in.
No way. Standard earbuds are very comfortable for me. These things however would not be.
If you're going to buy something like this you should just go out and buy yourself a decent pair of cans. Point of earbuds is to be super small.
@Hypenotist: These are for earbuds, not IEM's.
And this is why I use custom IEM's.
Holy Cow! I wondered where my piece of ear cheese went to! Give it back!
No close contact = no base.
Good bye ear pain, good bye bass.
Hmm.. Strange design ( I can understand that you wouldn't have to push the stupid earphone all the way into your ear to keep it from fall).. but something hanging off your earlobe.. Some may not like that....
So.. I think this products reviews will be split right down the middle..
Got a pair. Love em. No more earbud pain!!!
