If it doesn't come with Windows on it, I'll buy one.
RC @ Dec 6th 2007 8:10AM
I think the opposite of you.
Ellianth @ Dec 6th 2007 11:40AM
Any reason why you can't just uninstall windows?
RC @ Dec 6th 2007 7:07PM
Well if it comes with Linux chances are it will cost less. And why would I want to uninstall something when I bought it new. I'd rather it come with nothing at all than Windows.
Michael @ Dec 7th 2007 11:30AM
Why would you bother uninstalling anyway? Wouldn't the first step of your Linux install on a fresh drive be to create a new partition? So, you create a fresh partition that previously had Windows on it - big deal.

I want one!

XP FTW!!!
Steve Parisi @ Dec 6th 2007 6:48AM
Microsoft must love this beautiful ,high tech device being shown with XP!
Chuckles McGee @ Dec 6th 2007 10:37PM
Well, in Dell's video, it was shown running Vista. The pic is Engadget's, and could be a bit dated.
jonathanavery @ Dec 6th 2007 7:11AM
I'm sure that is not the image of the Dell Latitude XT.
Khris @ Dec 6th 2007 10:48AM
Was it the lack of a Dell logo that gave it away.
Maggard @ Dec 6th 2007 10:56AM
I so want this with MacOS on it–A hackintosh tablet.
Alexkass @ Dec 6th 2007 7:06AM
it will come with vista. but there will be an option for xp.
but anyone who knows something about tablets, understands that vista is the ONLY option ;)
PS. the pic is fake @ pshop.
Good_Bytes @ Dec 6th 2007 9:50AM
I can't agree more, Vista was design for tablet PC AND touch screen.
Notice the bigger window border, bigger start menu, easier navigation, AND all you need for your touch screen or tablet PC laptop and all with major improvements over Windows XP Tablet PC Edition
Wwhat @ Dec 6th 2007 1:16PM
I'd still opt for XP.
Jon Doe @ Dec 7th 2007 1:28AM
Which is why you fail. XP is a horrid tablet OS. MS did some major work on Vista for the tablet.
wyszkow @ Dec 6th 2007 4:10PM
when The apple make it ?
Jean-Michel Decombe @ Dec 6th 2007 12:12PM
You know that saying "dinnit" make you sound like a big chavster, right? Of course, you do.
BigDaddyM @ Dec 6th 2007 1:07PM
Doing a search for this turned up real picture, even a video on Dell's blog site introducing the tablet... Once things are offical, I may consider one for Xmas!

Tablets always seemed a good idea, but I really don't want a keyboard, I just want a touch screen.
Ed @ Dec 8th 2007 2:15AM
How much is this gonna cost? Any body know the range of current tablet pcs?
julionevada @ Dec 9th 2007 5:34AM
