Reader UI of the Week - Special Patch 3.0.2 edition
Welcome to a special edition of Reader UI of the Week – just for patch 3.0.2. We'll take a look at a few complete UIs submitted by WoW Insider readers that are fully compatible with patch 3.0.2 and Wrath of the Lich King.
Patch 3.0.2 is bringing a lot of expanded functionality to the underlying API (Application Programming Interface). The changes will not be as drastic as we all experienced when Burning Crusade was released, however there still will be a fair amount of problems that will have to be solved. After the break are a few complete lists of addons that are reported to at least work somewhat well together.
For a complete list of functioning addons, along with download sources, check out our list of essential addons for patch 3.0.2. We'll keep that list updated throughout the day.

Reader UI #1 – Daedhir of Duskwood
Daedhir provides us with a well framed and formatted UI that he has been using while exploring and leveling in Northrend. Daedhir's UI is nice in that it provides a lot of transparency, customized action bars, a clean map, and essential class and combat information. The complete list of Daedhir's addons follows:

Reader UI #2 - Frosteye of the Lich King beta server
Frosteye is a Death Knight on the Lich King beta server and presents to us a rather scaled down UI compared to some we've seen. The color choices aren't exactly to my liking, but what is to my liking is that everything works – and that is what's important in the next few days. You can see that he has functioning action bars, raid frames, and combat data displays. All things that are essential for a good time. Frosteye's list of addons follows.

Reader UI #3 - Iraya of the Murmur beta server
Iraya happens to be a guild mate of mine, who I realized just tonight had sent in a UI to us. Iraya took a snapshot of his UI while we were traveling through Naxxramas one evening. There are a lot of things I like here: working raid frames, a clean UI with clear visibility of the raid, easily identifiable buffs and debuffs, a damage and threat meter off to the side, and DBM misbehaving in its positioning (to Iraya's credit however, he mentions that he's since fixed it). The mods Iraya is using include:
X-Perl Unit Frames
Z-Threat Meter
Deadly Boss Mods
RuneWatch
FuBar
Recount
Reader UI #4 - Matt's Beta UI
Matt's UI is a good demonstration of a UI that just works. It might not be the prettiest or cleanest UI around – but it does demonstrate multiple addons that are good for raiding and general grouping. With Matt's UI we can clearly see recount, x-perl, and dominos all working together. He also has a beta version of Omen up. Addons which Matt has running are:
CowTip
Deadly Boss Mods
Domions
Omen
Onebag
Quartz
RatingBuster
Recount
X-Perl
Reader UI #5 - Smacker
I really dig Smacker's UI. It has everything I like in it: accessibility, cleanness, openness, information, good placement, and an uncluttered main play area. The minimap, while it has a lot of buttons, doesn't look like some spaghetti monster ate it for breakfast. It's organized and presents the necessary information nicely. Smacker's addons include:
Baggins
Clique
Domions
DoubleWide
FishingAce
Grid
kgPanels
Mappy
Outfitter
Prat
Quartz
Recount2
TrinketMenu
X-Perl
