The folks at BikeGPSTracking have what they claim to be the first "low cost"
GPS tracker for motorcycles and other small vehicles of death. The MC242 weighs in at $349, and allows you to track your bike anywhere, anytime in the US or Canada as long as you keep up with the $5.95 per month service plan. Other features include configurable alerts for when the ignition is turned on and off, a tether switch to SMS or email specific recipients if the rider is thrown off the bike, a vibration sensor that can tell if the bike is moved without being turned on, and Geofence and speed alerts. The MC242 available now.
that was a nice and easy post. "does what it says on the box" enough said.
"Vehicles of death"? Do you think this writer was educated by the ignorant, narrow-minded, fear-stricken, scared-of-your-own-shadow wimpy black sheep of the world? What an idiot. The V-O-D statement was totally irrelevent to advertise a perfectly good product. The author should stick to reporting on Sunday ice cream socials and sewing.
Aren't the manufacturing costs on something like this around 1/20th of the asking price?
What a pointless article. GPS trackers for cars, bicycles, people, and yes, MOTORBIKES have been around for a few years now. There's absolutely nothing new, or unique about this one... other than the fact that the up-front cost seems a bit much! Especially if you'll also be stung for installation costs.
Yeah, it's almost the same, except the monthly fee. Usually GPS trackers involve $15-25/month in service fees.
Actually if you do your research, motorcycle GPS tracking units retail for $500-$700. This is significantly less expensive and service runs as low as $6 per month. GPS tracking for motorcycles is far more difficult than cars because of the power consumption issues.
Hi,
my name is Terry and i have a website called Asia Bikes.com. I'm looking to get my ratting a little higher and i was wondering if you would like to put a banner on my website, and if possible to exchange links.
Asia Bikes has been up and running for just over a year now. We are an agent in Thailand that helps people find a bike that they want .we have many shop contact so helping people find the bike they want isn't a problem.
We work on a small commission basis once a bike has been sold to a customer.
You may find our bike prices pretty high when looking at our website. Compared to the USA Thailand is very expensive because of TAX and import.

Any way thank you for your time.
