Griffin uncorks PowerDock and 2008 iPod accessory lineup
Has it really come to this? Are consumers' homes so overrun with iPods that Griffin's $70 PowerDock is now a necessity? Seems so. Four iPods can charge simultaneously in a dosado of swirling volts and amperes... eureka! Griffin's newly announced 2008 lineup also includes updated iTrips, RoadTrip, PowerJolt and PowerBlock (or PowerDuo for combining that AC/Car charging), and more. But Griffin, a $30 iPhone case made of cork... seriously?

wow, I thought a regular dock was useless for me.
Lol. Broken image liek.
Any votes for worst iPod cover to date?
Id rock the cork case=)
then again i liked the brown zune=)
Cork is the new black!
In larger families the multi-dock makes sense. we have 3 ipods in my house (myself, my brother, my sister) and if we all need charging/syncing it can be a struggle.
that's what i was thinking. There are a total of 4 iPods in my house, and something like this wouldn't be so bad.
I bought the cork case for my best friend. If feels like cork, but hard enough so you know the phone is safe an secure!! To be more specific, it is a black plastic shell covered in a thin layer of a hardened cork or cork like material. Really cool if you like something different!
Well atleast we know with the cork iPhone case, that it will make your device float on Letterman's 'Will It Float'...
If the PowerDock had USB to plug into my Mac, I'd be all over it. We're just two people, but we've got an iPhone, a nano and a video, and I imagine there are other two-person households like us. But, just for charging, I'm not interested. I'd love to get rid of the 3 iPod cables coming from behind my computer, though. Why not add USB????
My wife has had the cork shell for a month. It's seems very durable. It draws a lot of positive attention.
I actually have a four kids and a total of 6 ipods (2 are shuffles, 3 G2 nanos, and G5 classic). This would actually be something I'd buy.
I have the cork case and though it does add a little bulk I haven't sent the iPhone skipping into the weeds since I bought it. Seeing as a replacement iPhone is $400, $30 is cheap easy insurance
I can't believe how these gadgets take over our lives and how many MORE gadgets we seem to need. From the inventors' perspective, it's smart advertising and increases sales. From the customers' perspective, it's exhausting and expensive.
What did we ever do before iPod? ;)

now all we need is for someone to make a wine bottle dock.
