Ah, yes...the Sony quadruple X....This is the upgrade from the triple-X "nightshot" camcorders of the late 90's that could see through swimsuits. The XXXX goes a step further, and can automatically photoshop people into compromising positions...
Sony have completely lost the plot with regards to quality and innovation in their compact cameras - and this latest model is yet another example. Their cameras of the early 200Xs (such as the DSP-200, 150 and their first touch screen model) offered better features, nicer controls and better picture quality. In fact, the only innovative cameras to come from Sony in the last few years are the new A300 and A350 with the more effective than the competition Live View implementation. I purchased a compact digicam from Tchibo (Germany company) for £120 at Christmas that not only feartures a 28mm to (don't remember) 4x optical zoom lens, a 3" high res screen, VGA video recording, all manner of clever manual controls - and a very very fast autofocus, but it came with a 1GIG SD card, TV out cable and more. And it was all encased in a very robust metal case. Picture quality very good too. Come on Sony, where's the spark gone?
Seriously, all these models all run into each other. All the models from other companies run into each other. What's the big deal if one is designated "S" or the other "U" or the other "X"? They're all the same P/S in the end.
It's just one letter away from being porn.
Does it come pre-loaded with porn?
Tagline: Ultra-porn is here.
All of Sony's products are named like that (VGN-XXXX, DSC-XXX, etc) until they have been given an official name. The official name has to do with series and the regions and features so they have get all that sorted out before finalizing the name.
maybe it's powered by Australian beer?
