Sony's MicroVault Click Excellence drives are Bill and Ted approved

Sony's MicroVault Click and Click Excellence range of USB drives were just announced in Europe. "Click," as in a clicking, retractable design with up to 16GB of flash capacity. "Excellence," as in an un-heinous 32MBps read and 11MBps write speed with a comforting, blinky-LED light for visual data flow. Unfortunately, the most excellent model is limited to a non-triumphant 8GB max capacity. Whoa, dudes.

Yes its pink and 16 units long.
San Dimas High School Football rules!!
I'll take one, please .
I used a co-worker's 2GB Sony Click drive. It was bodacious.
Actually, they're non-non-non-non-non-heinous.
Rufus and Socrates would love these.
I believe you mean So Crates.
This is most non non non heinous! Thanks Billy the Kid.
I got a full-on robot chubby.
It's sony, japanese Apple, they can't be that bad, can they?
That's Mr. The Kid to you.
These are so fantast.....oh look ice cream! =D
Every single day, Engadget shows me more fantast ways to store my porno collection.
I think 8 of these just might be enough.
my every porno is about 1.3 GB, 8 seems not enough.. :P
How do you even have time to read Engadget?
How does your keyboard even still work?
They are SOOOOO flashy, the flashiest flash drives that have even been driven....... Flashy.... Flash Drive....
Actually the 8Gb reminds me of Sony HDV tapes.
LMFAO. Man, you guys are killing me with Bill and Ted. (guitar riff)
Everything is different, but the same... things are more moderner than before... bigger, and yet smaller... it's computers...
@Michael
Your comment wins!
Most bodacious!
Hi, and welcome to the future. San Dimas, California, 2688. And I'm telling you, everything is great. The air is clean. The water is clean. Even the dirt... is clean. Bowling averages are way up. Mini-golf scores are way down. And we have more waterslides than any other planet we communicate with. I'm telling you, it's great. But it almost wasn't. You see, 700 years ago the Two Great Ones ran into a few problems. So now I must travel back in time to help them out. If I should fail to keep these two on the correct path, the basis of our society will be in danger. Don't worry. It'll make sense. I'm a professional.
Bill & Ted reference or GTFO.
:)
approved by so crates himself
STATION!!!
root kit FTW!
Yes, these should be large enough to store my collection of Wyld Stallyns mp3s....
Bill's step mom is really going to love the 16gb one. And she's smokin' hot!
SHUT UP, TED!
A small SDHC-accepting reader would be far better than yet another embedded flash stick like this, IMO. Not only is miniSD and microSD compatible with SD adaptors (and nearly always come with them), but they are extremely popular and dirt cheap. Truly dirt cheap.
Nifty retractable design tho.
Longevity
--------
Also, given that Flash has a finite write life, the USB stick with embedded Flash as a whole is another casualty reaching landfill, rather than just the flash itself, which I'm not too keen on.

Ed, I'd have to see the movie to answer with a reference :P
Midevil babes from Iowa
Your spelling is most heinous.
...they're from Medevil England.
Huh?
Uh, Medevil England, Iowa.
Oh.
These will be most triumphant in carrying around my Wyld Stallyns discography.
Keanu Reeves at his finest. Amirite?
"Take the to the Iron Maiden"
"Iron Maiden! Excellent!!!"
I still love that movie.
yeah but what number are you thinking of?
people, stay on topic, i just got one today, and i tried to copy the software onto another thumb drive, but it deleted all the files on it, otherwise, this is an awesome product, but might take a little time getting used to the experimental software
