Daft Punk Homework: create your own EL suit
Good thing Halloween is months away. You'll need that time to hone your sewing skills in the noble quest to create a Daft Punk suit of your very own. Instructables has everything you need (except the electroluminescent wire, soldering iron, heat gun, and pleather tracksuit) to build an EL suit worthy of electronic celebration. Best of all, your tutor for the course is none other than the suits' creator for the duo's 2007 tour. Now get moving humans, it's time to let the robots rock the party.

They need a discus to complete a TRON 2.0 scene :0
I'm in Digital Love!
I can't believe it's actually BY the guy who did the costumes.
It wasn't by the guy who did the costume, it's BY THE GIRL who did the costumes.
nxtiak:
My bad
I should have known men can't sew for shit!
Sure these look Aerodynamic, but I gotta ask the question, Face to Face, can they go Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger?
If so, then it's the Prime Time of Your Life! let's Make Love to Robot Rock, Around the World!
What? That's a kayne west song!
(just kidding btw, you'll have to admit you raged :P)
If I was a Superheroes, I would have Night Vision, a Steam Machine, powers to cause Short circuits, and always break down in Da Funk while living the High Life! I won't be Too Long until I am Fresh and Burning an High Fidelity Alive. Hopefully I can stop the evil The Brain Washer before he makes Television Rules the Nation. In order to do that, I will need to flip the On/Off switch, and use my Technologic Steam Machine to hack into the Indo Silver Club which is in Phoenix, Arizona. Then I will cause a Short Circuit in the spacecraft Voyager and be a Superheroes
Too much youtube for you Fernando!
Do check out Daft Punks live shows from youtube they are something.
And i do pity those who missed them, i really do
*blinks*
Very Technologic. Im sure news that this suit can be made by anyone will be Burnin' Around the World in not Too Long. sorry just had to join in =]
@ Haikibutsu, that was freakin' awesome!!! I would've never thought of that myself. And I consider myself a huge Daft Punk. Amazing work though, gotta give you props.
This designer has made up my mind. I'm going open casket now.
That Funke is some kind of something!
Boy, this Funke is all anybody's ever talking about.
So sick and tired of hearing about how brilliant that Funke is. Overrated.
Now I'm afraid I have something of a mess on my hands.
Probably a little late on this one, but here it is nonetheless:
Bateman confirmed that the long awaited and rumoured Arrested Development movie is going to shoot next year.

Excellent. I needed a summer project!
That 2008 Grammy's Kanye West/Daft Punk performance was awesome.
I swear when Daft Punk got the focus I nearly came
Are those safe halloween costumes? Sure drivers can see you, but can you see out the mask? But it would still be great to have a Tron costume.
Nothing beats seeing Daft Punk live. I caught their show at Lollapalooza in 2007 and it was amazing. I had no idea I would love a techno concert, since no one is "performing" live, but I had a blast while the two DJs spun their music to a fantastic light show. The crowd energy was intense. And I would love to find a friend and go as Daft Punk to a Halloween party this year.
I'll put their Coachella '06 show up against -palooza '07 any day.
Actually, I submit their appearance at FTT's Halloween Tribal Massive back in 1999 as the show to conquer all shows. Was anybody else there? God...damn...tears come to my eyes just remembering that shit.
Sure, they were ridiculous on almost every level, but raves were awesome.
It's not techno.
It's house/electro

1000Hz at 120 Volts coursing through numerous copper wires?
Bet the RFI is interesting.
[I used to be able to hear how my 1970s homebuilt computer was running due to RFI with the sound system - boot/run and listen to see if things were going okay]
Try several hundred feet on just one of those custom suits. I've bought a couple pieces of EL-laced accessories from the same lady who custom made Daft Punk's light up suits for their 2007 Alive Tour. I even was able to go to her studio to pick them up! She's extremely nice and does some great work. Her website is http://www.enlighted.com if you want to see some of her other work (which she does with a lot of other artists for their tours and other things)
I want them in the Games until they die playing.
Acknowledge.
End of line.
I saw these fellows at ACEN 2008. Really amazing in person.
It's just not complete without a glowing male camel toe.
jsut great get me helmet first.
