Robot arms do battle... Medieval Times-style

Sure, it's not uncommon to see one robot arm take a break from productivity to engage in some shenanigans potentially fraught with peril, but two robot arms slacking off and wielding weapons? Well, that's cause for some sort of celebration. As you can see in the video after the break, however, whomever was responsible for this madness didn't completely let the arms loose on each other, which we can only hope means they're saving the arms for the inevitable Wiimote-controlled version.

It's early days so let's get into the good habit of giving robots their own armory.
Yes I know the weapons aren't real/the robots are perfectly safe etc.
In the future when robots end up winning the war, we're gonna end up feeling really stupid for making this.
I for one am stocking up on EMP bombs. I'd like to remind the survivors that as a trusted Engadget reader I can accurately identify nearly all variants of our overlords.

How about a nice sword fight where the swords actually touch?!
The arms should attempt to cut the other arm off! Like Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots but with robotic arms. Make is resettable and have the two computers battle it out.
Keep all the sword touching in the privacy of your own home, ok buddy?
That reminds me of a vector graphic arcade game I used to play almost 30 years ago. I can't remember the name of it, but I bet I could find the mame rom if I dug around.
