Wearable toy piano makes music, looks good doing it
Now here's a concept. A musical shirt with enough transistors to make even the hardest of hardcore nerd blush, and a long-sleeve garment fashionable enough to make even the world-class design student stop and admire. Mashed into one. The Musical toy piano shirt is that very piece, which was constructed to wow onlookers at the Electronic Textile workshop held this month in Switzerland. Packing removable batteries, speakers and circuitry, the shirt enables the wearer to emit eight different notes from Do to Do, and we hear there's nothing quite as cute as playing a song on yourself. See what we mean in the vid hosted just after the break.

Might as well drive a Subaru with a rainbow bumper sticker to complete the collection......
Engadget you guys are so clever I would so rock that if I were a douche bag.
the two garments that i want this Christmas: the Microsoft Softwear Tee and this musical shirt. yay!
Michael Jackson would do a mean Thriller tune with this
Yes, if they made it to fit 8 year olds :D
M.J. skipped the shirt and went directly for the 8yo.
Looks kinda freaky touching himself all over that way.
Um, so... When they will be coming out with matching bongo drum shorts?
You should see how freaky it gets when he uses the guitar boxers
skin flute is still the instrument of choice
Don't wear it to the airport.
I AM IRON MAN?
Nice call Jim, I'm more of a, "I INTENTED THE PIANO KEY NECKTIE, AND WHAT HAVE YOU DONE? NOTHING?!"
I can see it now "what instrument do you play?" "myself"
That's one weird looking smile!
Would suck to spill spaghetti sauce on that thing.
Make it yourself:

if you leave the volume off all signs point to self pleasuring
um. I kinda want one. Thanks for the instruction link, Sans_Virtue.
"I am the music man, I come from far away, and I can play"
"What can you play"
"My long-sleeved T-shirt"
The next clip this guy makes should be him getting gang tackled by airport security wearin that getup with the volume at max makeing all the beeps and boops as they taser him.
Looks like Captain Kirk's gala uniform.
...
*googles the interwebs*
Dang, he already has one.
New way of courting:
"Come push my buttons"
I can only think of two things when I see this shirt
MOLEST ME! MOLEST ME!
and
You can touch me, I touch myself....
Hummmm it just might be a new page in the 'dating' game
touch my body
Introducing the all newwwwwwwww [drum rolls..]
PIANO HERO!!!!!!!!!
Totally predictable from you guys (commenters), you would have drooled all over it if there was a female model, or if it was used to control an iPod, or if it had been made for a female model in the form of a bikini, right?
Oh, wait, you did... Back in 08/2007 http://www.engadget.com/2007/08/14/jwins-ipod-bikini-top-sports-wireless-controls/
So, ummm, what's your complaint here? That it wasn't a scantly clad model? That they didn't embarrass a little kid? The lack of Hello-Kittyness?
and there would be a bunch of high ranks solely because of their comedic aspect.
this shirt was obviously made for Ryan Block
Ok, enough's enough. It's getting a bit ridiculous...
Now that society has adapted to the illusion of talking to oneself generated by the use of bluetooth headsets, we now have to adapt to people touching themselves akwardly and mental illness simulating arm movements in touch-sensative fabrics. Imagine if this takes off and we have a society of people walking on the street looking like that!
Eh. seems like some of us didn't need to wait for the touch-sensitive fabrics to get started on "touching themselves awkwardly" and/or "mental illness simulating arm movements."
...*cough* seriously,lookityeravatar.
Yeah, you've gotta appreciate the irony.
he he, i want females touch all over my body.
Mick Fleetwood had a shirt like this except it had percussion triggers. This was way back in the early '90s during a Fleetwood Mac concert.
Can't Touch This, ow wait.. you can
Blue Man Group just ordered a box of these bad boys for their next tour.
"playing a song on yourself"
Giggity.

ThinkGeek has an ostensibly cooler (imo) drum shirt here:

great for one-liners.

This would work so much better if he had some abs to speak of...
I'd learn to play piano if you persuade Jennifer Connelly to wear it ;-)
So now he can play piano -- when he's not doing an organ solo.
This needs to be worn inside out by pregnant women, so the baby makes licks when he kicks.
