Wearable toy piano makes music, looks good doing it
Now here's a concept. A musical shirt with enough transistors to make even the hardest of hardcore nerd blush, and a long-sleeve garment fashionable enough to make even the world-class design student stop and admire. Mashed into one. The Musical toy piano shirt is that very piece, which was constructed to wow onlookers at the Electronic Textile workshop held this month in Switzerland. Packing removable batteries, speakers and circuitry, the shirt enables the wearer to emit eight different notes from Do to Do, and we hear there's nothing quite as cute as playing a song on yourself. See what we mean in the vid hosted just after the break.

Totally predictable from you guys (commenters), you would have drooled all over it if there was a female model, or if it was used to control an iPod, or if it had been made for a female model in the form of a bikini, right?
Oh, wait, you did... Back in 08/2007 http://www.engadget.com/2007/08/14/jwins-ipod-bikini-top-sports-wireless-controls/
So, ummm, what's your complaint here? That it wasn't a scantly clad model? That they didn't embarrass a little kid? The lack of Hello-Kittyness?
Dale @ Dec 11th 2008 1:55PM
and there would be a bunch of high ranks solely because of their comedic aspect.

he he, i want females touch all over my body.
The Real Zam @ Dec 11th 2008 12:06PM
Now that society has adapted to the illusion of talking to oneself generated by the use of bluetooth headsets, we now have to adapt to people touching themselves akwardly and mental illness simulating arm movements in touch-sensative fabrics. Imagine if this takes off and we have a society of people walking on the street looking like that!
absurdio @ Dec 11th 2008 3:51PM
Eh. seems like some of us didn't need to wait for the touch-sensitive fabrics to get started on "touching themselves awkwardly" and/or "mental illness simulating arm movements."
...*cough* seriously,lookityeravatar.
derX @ Dec 11th 2008 4:49PM
Yeah, you've gotta appreciate the irony.
Galley @ Dec 11th 2008 12:09PM
Mick Fleetwood had a shirt like this except it had percussion triggers. This was way back in the early '90s during a Fleetwood Mac concert.

Fred M. @ Dec 12th 2008 8:33AM
So now he can play piano -- when he's not doing an organ solo.

This needs to be worn inside out by pregnant women, so the baby makes licks when he kicks.
