NintendoWare Weekly: Super Empire Strikes Back, Mr. Driller W.

It may be slim pickings for Nintendo fans this week, but at least there's more 2D Star Wars action to enjoy. If that's not your thing, there's a new version of Mr. Driller on WiIWare and another puzzler on DSiWare to check out but, well ... that's it.

Head past the break for the complete listings.

DSiWare

  • Pop+ Solo (Nnooo, 1 player, 500 DSi Points): Featuring a mixture of puzzle and shooting elements, Pop+ Solo has 16 different puzzles and a variety of different modes to play. There's also time-based puzzles, if you find your life lacks a certain amount of tension.

WiiWare

  • Mr. Driller W. (NBGI, 1 player, 800 Wii Points): This version of the classic puzzler presents 20 different levels and missions to drill through, though it lacks the multiplayer features of its predecessors. Not much else is said about the game, but we have a feeling that if you played Mr. Driller before, you pretty much know what the score is.

Virtual Console

  • Super Empire Strikes Back (SNES, 1 player, 800 Wii Points): This game picks up where Super Star Wars left off, following the exploits of the second film. You can participate in the Rebel exodus of Hoth, play as Han Solo and even fight Boba Fett.
