Samsung's Capella Bluetooth earpiece invades CES
Samsung swept into CES this year like an alien invasion. Tucked away beneath its awards, massive booth presence, and disrupter blast of products is this sexy Bluetooth earpiece. The Capella (shown tucked inside the receiver) is meant to be worn as a fashion accessory. Hey, that's what they say. And at the risk of being juiced by a Martian, well, we're not going to argue.

Where's the half-bored anorexic model wearing one? I WANT PICS DAMMIT
I have been waiting a good while for said bluetooth earpiece, Finally a headset that isn't clunky. (still waiting on price though)
why are there cords? I don't yet understand how this is supposed to be worn
Nice-looking. But is it comfortable? That's the key. Far too many Bluetooth earpieces suffer from the "it hurts my ears till it bleeds or gets sore as hell" problem. If it isn't, than it really isn't worth buying.
Have you tried the Blueant Z9i, i can wear that thing all day and dont even know its there.
@ firesuite
i hope you dont use that as an excuse to wear it all day long. If that is an excuse to wear a bluetooth earpiece all the time then i'm going to start going around to people politely informing them that they are wearing one so they dont accidentally leave it in.
Thanks much, firesuite. Currently, I have a Plantronics that's real comfortable. My previous Jabra, which went over the ears, was nice too -- too bad it crapped out after a mere week. But I'll definitely find the Blueant and try it out.
I don't think my ear canal is big enough to stuff all that in there. Maybe that little thing in the center, but all that other stuff, including the wires and everything?
Man, Samsung definitely rocked CES this year...
i need one
At this point I don't care how it actually works, I want this thing! Even the name is Sexy!
Well it looks like..
(as engadget claerly stated)
The bottom portion Is the reciever that just sits in your pocket or clips to a shirt, provides you can find a clip, while the small earbud looking thing that is set into the reciever is what actually goes into your ear.
I imagine it to be like wearing only one earbud rather than the typical two, and the reciever is a tiny DAP
Sorry, meant to say "clearly" and "provided"
I feel like a dunce
not really wireless when you see wires...lol!
They should post more pix 'in action'. But I must say, FINALLY an unusual, jewelry-like BT headset that wears, looks and works differently! Cus everything else is so boring out there- all BT headsets look almost the same right now.
