CrimeCraft MMO launches as PC exclusive, possible console ports "down the road" [update]

Update: Vogster contacted us to clarify its plans regarding a console version of the game. The official word: "To be clear a console or 360 version has not been 'canned'. The 360 SKU was toyed with in early development but the team has been focusing on the PC SKU and has always planned on it being PC only at initial launch, with the potential for additional platforms down the road. Xbox 360 included." Our TeamXbox source article has been updated with a similar statement, which reiterates that a 360 version of CrimeCraft "is still a possibility."

Vogster Entertainment's persistent world next-gen shooter CrimeCraft has been thwacked with the mighty force that is the game cancellation axe of pain. According to a Vogster rep, CrimeCraft will not be releasing to the Xbox 360 and will instead be developed as a PC exclusive title with a beta program launching prior to the game's retail debut.

We just want to say that we didn't want your CrimeCraft game anyway Vogster, we have plenty of other 360 gaming fun to keep us busy for years and years to come. Stupid CrimeCraft.
