Acer Aspire One D150 unboxed, looking cool

The Acer Aspire One D150 (which just hit our very own FCC) has hit the streets in several places, so the unboxing photos were just a matter of time. There's nothing totally groundbreaking here -- but the 10.1-incher (unboxed in white) is looking fairly solid. This model, the D150-0B, boasts a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU, 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive, a 1024 x 600 display, and a 3-cell battery. Future iterations including the D150-1B and the D150-2B will include 6-cell battery and Intel Atom 1.66GHz N280 processor options. Check out a few more photos here after the break, and hit the read link for the full, lovely set.

Looks really cool, I might buy it if it was the atom nvidia chipset :( thats what im really waiting for.
It comes with a slip case? Wow, thats quite a nice bonus
The current one comes with a slip case.
Trust me, you need it. I constantly have to instruct people how to open and close the lid without their damn greasy hands slapped all over the lid.
I didn't get a slipcase with mine either. 6 cell from costco.com 2 months ago.
They all come with a slip case. Oh and a glossy screen of death. I hate glossy screens on laptops. I still prefer my Samsung NC10 over everything else. However, this will all be worthless when the Ion comes out. Sorry my brand new netbook, but you'll probably be replaced in 6 months.
I actually own an Aspire One A110 and it didn't come with a case and cant see any mention of it having one on the box or on any of the documents. Perhaps its just a regional thing?
Why no edge to edge keyboard?
I waiting for the N280 variety as long as cost doesn't go up to much. New better chipset then the 945G. Just add in a decent size SSD and it will make for a nice portable to tote around the office when working on other peoples machines. Also betters trying to rdp to a server from a WinMo phone.
I still like the original better, but the 10" seems to give you more access to the hardware.
2B or not 2B
That is the question...
Any idea (or guesses) as to the streetdate on the 2B option?
Pass, got the msi wind
I thought the pics were made with some webcam or something, seems the EXIF says it's done wth a canon SD600, so that's not the camera to get then eh.
Does anyone have a picture of it next to the original 8 inch model for size comparison? Will it still fit into the cases/bags designed for 10 inch portable dvd players?
I am waiting for the one with WIMAX option in 10" size, regardless of N270 or N280 processor.
We have Wimax running successfully in Pakistan and I cant wait to have one with WIMAX.
