That's why he showed the power brick and mentioned 150W (Jasper PSU), showed the PSU connector (Jasper style), and also mentioned the manufacturing date.
He wants everyone to know it's a Jasper, without saying explicitly saying it is a Jasper.
Vanillacide is absolutely right. Nelson's unabashed mention of the PSU wattage and manufacture date are clear indications that this build is jasper. This is a sneaky way of not mentioning what's inside. So, get your credit cards ready and get ready to buy a 360 all over again. But that's OK, since you already burned up your last one, and the three year warranty is up. Nice move M$!! $300X2=$600, and the PS3 was how much at launch?

By answering the PSU questions, he is effectively confirming that all of these consoles will be Jasper. So to everyone who has asked/will as if this has the new internals: YES! This is 100% a Jasper (150W PSU).
Exactly. MS doesn't officially comment on the availability of various hardware revisions, but this was intentionally put in there by Larry I'm sure for just that reason.

Anyone know if GameStop was giving away any swag with this pre-order? My wife pre-ordered ours at Game Crazy (Hollywood Video) so we got the 12 free game rentals. Funny thing is, we pre-ordered the LE of Resident Evil 5 a couple weeks ago! We'll be getting a snow globe filled with sand...um...ok sounds cool!

Did Microsoft make sure that that shade of red is the exact shade of red as you get when you RROD? The least they could do is give you the same shade of red.
I'm a geek, I'm not a sentimentalist. I don't give a rat's ass how many editions of the same hardware MS has managed to put out. This is as boring as noticing that my wife has a different haircut (when she obviously doesn't, but according to her, she took off 1/4 of an inch on the sides).
Please report on this subject when xbox releases a new version (not when they repaint the same xbox with rainbows and call it "special gay edition").

Can someone tell me if the red wireless controller uses standard batteries or rechargeables? I noticed a separate red wireless controller on Amazon that comes with the Play and Charge Kit. Will that kit work with the red wireless controller that ships with this console? And if the original packaged controller uses standard batteries can I buy a separate play and charge kit to get that one on rechargeables as well? Thanks.
