Spotted one here in my local Target in Houston, behind the counter by the way. Asked the clerk there and he said these were going to back to the stock room. He didn't know when it will be back out here for sale, but the one they have does not have the not for sale sticker.
I wish I still worked at Target. I'd buy one and sell it on eBay for ridiculous amounts of money ;) ;)

well, it has Resident Evil 5 in it, and I would love to get my hands on RE5 right now.
Then get the PS3 bundle, that way you get better games( i.e. Killzone2, LBP) and a whole library of Blu-rays

I did'nt know they were supposed to be rare or anything, their is at least 20 of them at my local Walmart in Quebec,Canada since Friday night, they are 459.97$ Canadian.
Future Shop has them on their website too...but they are $399. Release date is March 13th here (Ontario)

I work there in the backroom and we got a shipment of two on friday. I forgot to check the price but they are still in the backroom hidden. I work in SoCal so im sure each store is getting at least 2. The security list said xbox 360 elite so this store could have been confused and put them out since they could have been mistaken it with the black one. Mine came back stocked so i had to put it away.
It's good news they're shipping early. If you pre-ordered one online, you may actually get it delivered on the 13th.

Being an employee at a computer store that will go unnamed, that orange sticker is very familiar for me. When Halo 3 was distributed to us, our warehouse was stocked a good week before the game came out, and each game case had a sticker exactly like the one listed on that system. Most likely, that xbox is waiting to go on sale for real. If i recall, any microsoft product that is slated for early distribution has a "do not sell before" marking on it. We couldn't officially sell halo 3 until 12:01 the day it came out.. we all laughed.
That's because that's the release date of Resident Evil which is bundled with that Red Elite.

Too bad selling my elite on eBay would only pay for half of this box! I'd happily spend $100 for the new color and latest hardware revision... but not $200.
