Ahhh, fuck you Sony, and Microsoft and every other company that releases a product waits for every one to jump on the band wagon and then releases a slightly improved version just down the road to piss us all off....
YEAH! No one should release anything ever until they figure out what the finalized version should look like!

how does it piss you off?? COMMON SENSE tells most people that one with a LARGER HDD is coming. Especially with them touting it being a "MOVIE DOWNLOADING MACHINE"
its been less than 30 days more than likely you can take it back. now quit crying my god. we knew about the 250 gig THEY DAY THE 120 CAME OUT GEEEEEEZ
To be honest, it's proabbly cheaper getting the 120Gb model, then replacing the hard drive yourself, than waiting for one that will be bigger. At least you'll have a ps3 slim to play on in the meantime!

Cheaper and you have the ability to purchase a better drive than they use.
Honestly, at least with the PS3 you can effortlessly upgrade your hard drive to whatever size is available. With the Xbox 360 it's a completely different ball game and you are limited to the size Microsoft allows (120 for the time being).

They'd be better off waiting for a bundle... Cause it would most likely be cheaper to just buy the 120GB version and upgrade the HDD yourself

The price is very good :)
A 250GB 2.5" drive costs around £35 so paying £40 more for 250GB isn't bad, saves the hassle of having to install and format yourself :)
But when you pay £35 for a new drive, you can actually keep the old 120GB and use it in a dock.
if you are 21 and doing that you must be new to the internet....that got old after a week back in the 90s
I don't know why people get worked up over a larger capacity PS3. It takes all of 5 minutes to swap out the hard drive.
5 minutes of work > 5 days of waiting on shipping.

It is a choice. Anyway this is fine for people who didn't already buy a PS3 (slim or otherwise) or can't be bothered to order a replacement harddrive and replace themselves.

For what? The performance boost from an SSD on a console would be negligible.
To brag about paying 2x more for a drive with 8gb more than the HD that was already in the machine for free.
