Tron: Evolution to have free, day-one multiplayer DLC

Okay, of all the video game franchises out there that could possibly have day-one downloadable content, we think Tron is, by far, the most appropriate. After all, whilst in the neon-tinted world of Tron: Evolution, you yourself are downloadable content. It's almost canonical that the PC, PS3 and 360 versions of the game will include one-time-use codes to unlock a handful of additional multiplayer maps and a character skin modeled after the new film's protagonist, Sam Flynn.

Check out some of the complimentary multiplayer accoutrements in the gallery posted below.

Greetings Program --

Disney Interactive Studios is bringing robot rock to TRON: Evolution! This new video features lead sound designer Jason Owen and game director Darren Hedges as they explain the unique collaboration the game team struck up with Daft Punk in creating the game's music. The videogame will feature two Daft Punk tracks from the upcoming TRON: Legacy film score -- "Derezzed" and "The Grid" -- along with music from renowned artists Sascha Dikiciyan, Cris Velasco and Kevin Manthei.

We're also pleased to break the news surrounding free downloadable content for the 360, PS3 and PC versions of the game. This content can be unlocked with a one-time-use code that comes with every retail version of TRON: Evolution and includes new multiplayer maps and a multiplayer character model of Sam Flynn, the main character from the upcoming movie.
