P.S. Don't feel bad, we tried to click the play button too.

Should have read the P.S. before i got frustrated at the picture for not playing.
nice! I use flashblock , I knew it wouldn't load unless I click Play.
@wuwtk I did the same thing too... i always watch the video first... heh
@wuwtk
They shouldn't do that to us. We're only humans.
Hey that's Jon4lakers vid, for TechnoBuffalo
@schneiderman Can't believe it's a TechnoBuffalo/ Jon4Lakers clip!
I clicked play and failed. :(
@treats - you're not alone... I too have failed.
i clicked on the x to close the ad so I could get on with the video. I failed as well.
@petey1111
Buahaha, that's even more fail than me!
@bergwitz lmao ... a bigger failure!! hahaha .... i did too !!
@petey1111
me too... and i've clicked it twice
@petey1111
Yeah, I clicked it mostly because I was shocked to see that Adblock Plus had missed something.
@petey1111
I clicked X and then play when it wouldn't work....
Total failure for me as well.
I clicked the stupid X to out of habbit, wtf
i clicked the ad to earn some money for google out of habit. also failed
How are they going to get audio & video out of this phone with only those three dots on the bottom of the unit? And how will said dots maintain a connection in a moving car?
@Information Central
wifi / bluetooth
That's pretty useless, if true. That precludes plugging it into your car and home stereos directly, making it no competitor to the iPhone. Plugging into the headphone jack would be a crappy, cumbersome, and ugly workaround.
The lack of audio/video connectors on the bottom is a major oversight.
Where are the comments going?
It may just be me but I am not a fan of how the adds pop up over part of the screen.
Woot TechnoBuffalo.
Just one more thing that makes the Nexus One better than the iPhone.
@josesxi
Haha, yeah because there no such thing as a dock for the iPhone which can display photos! The AV stuff is quite neat, but the iPhone can also do video-out (no idea on quality mind).
It played fine for me! :P
You just lost the game.
The real news story should be an engadget reader who doesnt have ABP, is it 2003 still? Seriously though, if I had a Nexus One I wouldn't buy it. Thankfully I have a Hero.
@davebu3
The iphone is better than the hero, and the Nexus One is a god compared to both of those phone's. LMAO
@tommyarmour
I had a Hero and hated it, switched to a 3GS and couldn't be happier! I'm really not sure how the Nexus one could be a god compared to the 3GS.
Yes the hardware is superior, but having used Android I really really don't see how the arrival of the Nexus one could suddenly lead to a mass of quality apps for the platform, especially with news of developers pulling out from Android.
I'd still say iPhone is the most stable and nicest of all the mobile OS', only seconded by WebOS and then Android.
@tommyarmour I disagree, I had 3 iTouch's all break before I was able to get a phone in the fall, and the majority of the appstore apps are useless, compared to the amazing android apps such as locale, screebl, google nav when it gets updated, not to mention the fully customizable interface. Not to mention the monthly savings on Sprint over ATT. The iPhone is a dumb smartphone, thats why it was so successful.
@davebu3
Yup, so dumb it manages to have more than one email account in its email app! Sorry google but that Gmail app is a joke!
Whilst I was an Android user it was very buggy and very slow, the marketplace constantly wouldn't load and never notified me when I had updates, the keyboard was inaccurate due to the lack of multitouch, the WiFi was terrible, so much so that I just used data networks constantly, and all the apps I downloaded had awful UI's making non of them a pleasure to use.
I'm sorry, but Android was just not for me, but despite that I can accept that the iPhone isn't for everyone. Calling it a dumb smartphone is stupid, I'm pretty sure with the wealth of things you can do with WinMo and BlackBerry those users would call Android a dumb smartphone platform.
Each to their own!
$45? That thing better make sandwiches AND the bed.
@Abe
What kind of sandwiches?
@Abe
Try explaining that to my iPod dock, I paid 99 dollar for it, and all it does is output audio and data.
You are a terrible, terrible person Thomas Ricker!
Confusing all the nice people like that! For shame!
They could have said. It;s not a video. Fail on me!! But Nexus One, ehh like joshua said if i cant run emulators on it, I'll pass. I can;t wait to get my Cliq Neo Geo CD on that thing would be awesome.
@incogneo
The developer who makes the emulators (nesoid,gensoid,etc) is working on adding multi touch it now, so its only a matter of time.
wow. i clicked it too. i also clicked the x on the google advertisement. nice one engadet
I think the wording is too specific to be real. I think this is a photoshop. :/
I'm still waiting to hear when the Engadget App for Android will be imminently available. That's what the Nexus really needs.
Without seeing the dock you can't really say if it will be too expensive or not, but I don't see why Google is so secretive about a damn dock :)
Discussion about it here though:

I was wondering how engadget video is on front page instead of inside ... But i really did click it .. :$
Np, Iv tried for years to get a story up on engadget and its finally come true. =) lol
What's the opposite of FAIL?
just btw, the video that they are trying to load is one from technobuffalo.com. great site just incase you havn't seen any of their content. Ran by a great guy named john rettenger.
