WRUP: Forget it, we're hiding in the grass edition
Every week, just at the start of the weekend, we catch up with the Massively team and ask them, "What are you playing this week?" (Otherwise known as: WRUP!) Join us to see what we're up to in and out of game -- and catch us in the comments to let us know what you're playing, too!
Something appears to have gone awry with this weekend's WRUP, as when we asked the staff what they were playing, most of them scurried out of the building and into the tall grass surrounding the exterior of the office. Despite the best efforts of several trained bloodhounds, only a few could be tracked down, with the rest presumably running for the hills or pretending to be botanists. Nevertheless, we acquired answers from those few staff members we caught. As we're not expecting anyone to stop hiding in the tall grass, tune in past the cut for the answers we did get, and don't miss next week when the air conditioner takes on column duties.
Beau Hindman (@Beau_Hindman): I will be playing way too much. Not only moving onto my next Rise and Shiny game, but I'll be sniping in Global Agenda, gaining another level in APB, continuing my adventure in Alganon, discovering new abilities in Zentia, playing a really cool closed beta, and thinking of giving Dark Age of Camelot another try. It'll be crazy, but well worth it
Brianna Royce: No games for me this weekend -- moving to the new place! But I can't wait until this is over so I can get Going Rogue finally!
Edward Marshall: I'll be doing a little crafting in Fallen Earth. Or maybe leveling a fourth character to the level cap, depending on how much time I have on my hands. I might fire up Perpetuum and/or World of Tanks for some beta-testing goodness.
Eliot Lefebvre: Now that I've got a new expansion to play in City of Heroes, I want to dive into that with full vigor. I'm also looking forward to playing a little bit of a couple betas as well as spend more time in Final Fantasy XI. Aside from that? Well, I haven't been sleeping much over the past week. I'd like to try and get some rest.
Jeremy Stratton (@Jeremy_Stratton): I'm taking a refresher course in Runes of Magic's minigames and battegrounds. I never thought I'd like them, but the battlegrounds are really addicting. Apart from that? I've never touched the Everquest franchise before, so I can't wait to try EverQuest 2 Extended.
Seraphina Brennan (@sera_brennan): This weekend is going to be my final amount of time with Mortal Online. Next week, I'm finally doing this review. I'm finally going to talk about my experiences with Mortal Online! I'm probably going to get death threats again. Otherwise, this weekend is all about getting costume pieces together for my Dragon*Con cosplay. It's going to be epic. A little expensive, but epic.
