NintendoWare Weekly: Zenonia, Target Toss Pro: Lawn Darts

It's a light week on the Wii and DSi Shops, with two each for DSiWare and WiiWare, and none for the Virtual Console. The highlight on Wii is Target Toss Pro: Lawn Darts -- if only because it explains why Target Toss Pro: Bags had the awkward title it did and not, like, Bag Toss or something simple. It's a series!

DSiWare has Zenonia, a port of an iPhone action RPG that sounds like it might actually be pretty good, especially with buttons.%Gallery-103381%

WiiWare

  • Target Toss Pro: Lawn Darts (Incredible Technologies, 1-16 players, 700 Wii Points): "Based on one of the nation's most infamous backyard games," this allows you to play lawn darts without the risks inherent in the sport.

  • Astro Bugz Revenge (Sudden Games, 1-2 players, 700 Wii Points): First, play the normal mode and match three or more same-colored "bugz" to eliminate them. Then switch over to "Revenge" mode and play from the bugz' perspective, avenging their deaths at ... your own hands.

DSiWare

  • Zenonia (Gamevil, 1 player, 800 DSi Points): Follow a guy named Regret -- who, unsurprisingly, doesn't seem to have a pleasant life. A demon killed his father, and Regret sets out to investigate, leveling up as a Paladin, Warrior, or Assassin along the way.

  • Fizz (DK Games, 1 player, 200 DSi Points): A puzzle game in which you match colors to align "nodes" on the screen, facing interference from phenomena like asteroids, pulsars, and even aliens.
