After the Shattering destroyed a good portion of Azeroth and threw the world into chaos, Deathwing emerged as the world's biggest threat. Twilight of the Dragons will tell the story of Deathwing and his consort Sinestra as they unleash the Twilight Dragonflight, scheme and plan for the annihilation of all life on Azeroth, and wreak all sorts of destruction.

The theme of the set is destruction, which allows Twilight dragonflight cards to be buffed when cards are sent to their death/graveyard. You can even be Deathwing, as he is included as a Master Hero card.

As usual, Cryptozoic is offering an Epic Collection for Twilight of the Dragons, including:

  • 6 Twilight of the Dragons booster packs

  • 1 Twilight of the Dragons playmat and deckbox

  • Collectible storage box with class dividers

  • 1 loot card

  • Twilight of the Dragons visual pocket guide

  • 5 random foil Twilight of the Dragons heroes

Each Twilight of the Dragons box comes with 24 packs per box, with 19 game cards per pack.

From the leaked information on the WoW PTR, it appears that Twilight of the Dragons' loot cards will include a Nightsaber cub pet, a Fool's Gold item that transforms friends into kobolds, and the Amani Dragonhawk flying mount, which coincides nicely with patch 4.1, Rise of the Zandalari.

July will be an exciting month for WoW TCG fans, no matter what destruction reigns. For now, check out the phenomenal art from some of the upcoming cards, including a breathtakingly awesome picture of Nefarian. Can I just go off on a tangent for a moment and say how absolutely blown away I am whenever I see the Trading Card Game art? Ridiculous.

Twilight of the Dragons is releasing in July 2011.
