NintendoWare Weekly: Horizon Riders, Side Pocket, Simply Minesweeper

The Game Boy collection on the 3DS continues to grow ever so gradually with the addition of Data East's Side Pocket, a pool game. That's "pool" as in the game about hitting numbered balls with a cue, not swimming. Nintendo also informs us that Pokedex 3D has been updated -- but not how it's been updated -- so if you're still working to fill your virtual compendium, check for that addition.

On DSiWare, there's another House MD episode and Simply Minesweeper, a version of the classic timewaster. And on WiiWare: Horizon Riders, a new rail shooter that gives you the option of controlling movement with the Balance Board.%Gallery-135947%

• Horizon Riders (Sabarasa, 1 player, 800 Wii Points): Hop onto your hoverboard and shoot down robots in a Sin and Punishment-inspired rail shooter.

• Demo: Horizon Riders (Sabarasa, 1 player, 0 Wii Points): Like Horizon Riders, but less of it.

• Side Pocket (Game Boy) (G-Mode, 1 player, $2.99): 9-ball and 16-ball pool games.

DSiWare

• House M.D. - Episode 3: Skull and Bones (Legacy Interactive, 1 player, $7.99/800 DSi Points): It has to be lupus this time.

• Simply Minesweeper (Engine Software, 1 player, $1.99/200 DSi Points): Hey, apparently Minesweeper isn't owned by Microsoft! Neat.
