MV Guide: January 10 - 17, 2011

MV Guide is a weekly rundown of the MMO gaming events planned on Massively's Livestream channel.

Every week the Massively staff will be logging in to play various MMOs live and in person, and we'd love for you to drop by the channel and visit. We'll have a combination of regular weekly games and new surprises, so you'll find a variety of games to take a look at. During Livestream events, you can participate in the live chat to learn about the game, ask questions, and spend some time with Massively staff and readers.

Are you worried about missing out due to your schedule? Don't be, because we'll be Livestreaming at various times during the afternoon and evening both weekdays and weekends, so you're sure to find something great up and running at a good time! Monday, 1:00 p.m. EST: Shawn -- Ministry of War
This week Shawn tours Ministry of War with a few of the Snail Games team, and they've got some great gift packages for Massively readers.

Tuesday, 9:00 p.m. EST: Beau -- Uncharted Waters Online
This week for Rise and Shiny, Beau will be streaming some Uncharted Waters Online! He says: "I've been meaning to cover this game for a while, so better later than never huh? Join me in game -- my character's name is Beau Hindman."

Wednesday, 5:00 p.m. EST: Larry -- DC Universe Online
This Wednesday, Massively cracks open a brand-new box for DC Universe Online. Although you will not get to see Larry struggle with the cellophane wrapping, you will be able to see him take part in creating a fresh superhero. Brainiac has captured another exobyte-infused human, but what powers does this person have? What does he look like? Discover more about the character creation process for DCUO this week, and watch as our new hero battles his way out of Brainiac's ship. Thursday, 9:00 p.m. EST: Rubi -- Guild Wars
Rubi, along with Massively's Guild Wars guild, continues her progress in the Factions campaign. Last week the guild made much faster progress than expected, so they're well into the Echovald forest at Altrumm Ruins this week. Follow along as they make their way to the convocation: rezzing bosses, a spear that will help defeat Shiro Tagachi, and a gigantic squid!

Saturday, 9:00 p.m. EST: Karen -- EverQuest II
Join Karen on Saturday for a look at EverQuest II's heroic instance, The Conservatory. Originally a laboratory built by the Erudites as a place to study the plant life of the Vasty Deep, the Conservatory is now a zone full of beauty -- and danger. Karen and her groupmates will explore this high-level instance from Sentinel's Fate.
