WRUP: Joystiq 'always-on' DRM

Following the revelation that "always-on DRM" is a success and just the way things are, we've decided to implement it here on Joystiq. Going forward, new site content and use of Joystiq.com and our mobile apps will require an internet connection. In protest, the Joystiq staff is seeking other employment opportunities.

• Alexander Sliwinski (@XanderSliwinski): Bastion, getting close to the end. Have an Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet to visit. Also, League of Legends. S-O-S-O-R-A-AKA.

• Ben Gilbert (@BigBossBgilbert): Like Justin, I'm in a perpetual state of "Need to finish Bastion." I'll also be hopping back into Resistance 3's multiplayer beta, which is a shocking amount of fun. Now if only I can get over these stupid convex analog sticks!

• Christopher Grant (@ChrisGrant): Last weekend I juggled L.A. Noire, Bastion, Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet, and From Dust. This weekend ... I'll be working on those four with a healthy dose of Resistance 3 multiplayer beta thrown in as well.

• David Hinkle (@DaveHinkle): I'll be on a jetplane headed back to San Francisco this weekend, so I'll probably just watch the latest episode of Breaking Bad on my iPad five times.

• Jordan Mallory (@Jordan_Mallory): I'll be immersing myself in Machinarium again this weekend, so if no one has heard from me by Saturday night it means I've died and someone should send Jess to recover my starved corpse.

• Justin McElroy (@JustinMcElroy): I really need to finish Bastion. Oh ... and Mystery Case Files: The 13th Skull. OH NO I DIDN'T. (I DID.)

• Ludwig Kietzmann (@LudwigK): I really need to catch up on my enormous, self-inflicted Steam sale backlog. So, uh ... Hitman: Blood Money?

• Mike Schramm (@MikeSchramm): Still stuck in Wisconsin, and at this point the lack of steady Internet (and my DSi charger -- whoops, left it at home) is driving me a little crazy. I've still got Tiny Tower running, but I don't know if that will last me through the plane trip back to LA on Sunday. Send help?
