Previously on MV TV: Week of January 9th, 2012

Fallen Earth, aka Good God in Heaven, shoot it!

Welcome to the brand-new Previously on MV TV! Our livestreaming schedule has picked up a lot over the past few weeks, and our readers have busy lives, so we know it's impossible to watch every single streaming event live. Fortunately for you, we save all of our streams all for posterity on Massively's Twitch TV channel, so you can view them at your leisure. Even better, we've got a roundup of a few of last week's MV TV highlights from the livestream team. Follow along after the jump for the best of the best!

Fallen Earth

Karen and Jeremy returned to the wasteland in Fallen Earth! Last time, they had a blast being shown around by GamersFirst's public relations manager, Darek Connole. The PvP pit took center stage in that video, with GMs spawning hordes of giant, mutated creations. This time, they were taken on a grand tour by Fallen Earth's lead game developer, Marie Croall.

She took them to (and explained) the new PvP territory conflicts, showed off some amazing and diverse regions, and introduced them to a not-so-little world boss (the size of a large house!) by the name of Earthwalker. Marie also talked about a timetable for a new, "ground-breaking" system. Jeremy also took some potshots at Karen, but she got her revenge.

Star Wars: The Old Republic

When you smuggle for credits, you live on the edge. You never know what the galaxy will throw your way. Such is the life of the Smuggler named Topper in Larry "Shaddoe" Everett's Star Wars: The Old Republic livestream. This week, bounty hunters finally caught up to our reluctant hero, and right off the bat, he was in a fight for his life.

Did Topper and his sidekick Corso make it to Carrick Station, or did Rogun the Butcher finally defeat the dynamic duo? You'll have to watch last week's episode to find out!

Vanguard: Saga of Heroes

During this week's explosive episode, Adventure Mike engaged in DEATH RUN EARTH DEN UNLIMITED 2012......1!!! At least he attempted to, anyway. The Earth Den on the Isle of Dawn had been a source of constant frustration during his attempts to progress his Raki Ranger Ricollossus (say that five times fast!). Between surgical strikes upon hobgoblin strongholds and being assaulted by rock lobster-shaped summoned demons, Mike had a pretty full schedule.

Was there mass confusion while completing quest objectives? Did he manage to topple the Rock Lobster? How many times exactly did he die? Check out last week's stream!

League of Legends

During Richie's livestream show this week, he played League of Legends for the first time and leaned heavily on the chatroom to help him navigate the tutorial. After completing the advanced training with honors, his confidence swelled as he took on his first bot match using the pirate, Gangplank, as his champion. However, not even the Saltwater Scourge -- and a plethora of scurvy jokes -- could prepare Richie for what was coming. Did he pull out the victory or was he thwarted live on the internet? Watch and find out!

Second Life

If you missed Beau's Second Life stream on Wednesday, then you missed his attempts at building an actual working spaceship right in front of your eyes. Of course, it's been a long time since he has successfully built anything that moves, but it's still an educational stream.

Building in Second Life is actually quite easy, especially once you learn the tricks and shortcuts that come along with it. Beau plans on doing more building tutorials in the future, so be sure not to miss those! By the way, his ship doesn't actually get off the ground, but it is still a great way to learn how to build an object. Perhaps next time Beau will give a class on actual scripting. Goodness knows he could use one!

Did you miss Massively TV last week? Are you too busy to dig through a week's worth of video to get to the highlights? Never fear! We've done the work for you right here in Previously on MV TV, a roundup of epic battles, tragic deaths, and juicy outtakes from last week's livestreams.
