MV Guide: January 23-29, 2012

MV Guide is a weekly rundown of the MMO gaming events planned on Massively TV.

Every week, the Massively staff logs in to play various MMOs live and in person, and we'd love for you to drop by the channel and visit. We have a combination of regular weekly games and new surprises, so you'll find a variety of titles to take a look at. During our streamed events, you can participate in the live chat, ask questions to learn about the game, and simply spend some time with Massively staff and readers. (Of course, streaming is subject to the whims of outside forces like server-side gremlins once in a while.)

Monday: 1:00 p.m. EST: Blake -- Global Agenda
Lunchtime Livecast #6 is here as Blake discusses positioning in Global Agenda. He'll be on his Medic, but he'll give general tips for success that any class can use. Position yourself for success during your lunch on Monday!

Monday, 5:00 p.m. EST: Beau -- Urban Rivals
Have you ever wanted to combat your friends using a small army of super-powered humanoids? Well, you can now. Or you can watch Beau as he does it live in this new game called Urban Rivals. Feel free to give him advice in the chat room!

Monday, 7:00 p.m. EST: Karen and Jeremy -- Luvinia Online
Karen and Jeremy are on the scene at Luvinia's Zendo launch event! Come spend the Lunar New Year with them as they go on a guided tour of the new content. Join them for pig roasts, fireworks, and even a Valentine's surprise!

Monday, 8:00 p.m. EST: Mike -- EVE Online
After last week's near victory, Mike is determined to storm into low-sec space in a newbie ship and make off with some not-so-valuable Veldspar. Join him as he attempts to outfox pirates and thieves in EVE's most dangerous reaches.

Tuesday, 2:00 p.m. EST: Larry -- SWTOR
Three hundred years ago, Taris was regarded as the Coruscant of the Outer Rim... until Darth Malak razed it to the ground. Topper's first delivery since getting his ship back leads him to this planet. Unfortunately, things never go as smoothly as planned.

Tuesday, 5:00 p.m. EST: Beau -- Glitch
Glitch Tuesday is back! Check out Beau as he grinds his way through a few different quests. Of course, he'll become distracted by the million other things to do in the game, but if he sticks to the plan, he'll be able to finish some quests!

Wednesday, 11:00 a.m. EST: Richie -- Guild Wars
Richie hasn't played Guild Wars in a few months and is ready to dust off his Mesmer and continue his quest to complete Eye of the North. Join him as he helps out those wacky Asura and gets called a "bookah" dozens of times.

Wednesday, 3:00 p.m. EST: Jeremy -- Runes of Magic
Jeremy was very happy and thankful that his guildmates showed up last week and carried him through Kalin Shrine. Tune in Wednesday to watch a great group of people carry Jeremy through Naga Acropolis: Home of the Demon Lord.

Wednesday, 5:00 p.m. EST: Beau -- Second Life
Second Life Wednesday is back again, and this time Beau is exploring more RPG sims. There are so many to choose from, so he'll have to make use of the in-game search tools to find them. If you have any you'd like him to see, point the way!

Thursday, 5:00 a.m. EST: Psykopig -- Disney's Toontown
This week, Psykopig takes us on another misplaced adventure in the next MMO he doesn't belong in: Disney's Toontown. Come join the horror as he tries to figure out what the game is about!

Thursday, 5:00 p.m. EST: Beau -- RuneScape
RuneScape Thursdays are all about exploring possibly the best browser-based game in existence. This time around Beau will be making his way through a couple of level-appropriate dungeons. Wish him luck; he tends to forget how to fight things. Also, remind him to leave his stuff in the bank!

Friday, 5:00 p.m. EST: Beau -- Ryzom
Ever wanted to explore the wonderful world of Atys but were too scared? Don't worry, you baby -- Beau will explore it for you. He'll start off on the newbie island of Silan and make his way into the "real" world. He'll also die a lot. That's inevitable.

Saturday, 8:00 p.m. EST: James "Adventure Mike" -- Vanguard: Saga of Heroes
It's been promised repeatedly, but the time is finally here. Join us this week for an epic collaboration of forces between Adventure Mike, Beau, Karen and Jeremy. This Massively staff crusade of biblical proportions will stride a path of justice through Vanguard's public dungeons. This is an event you won't want to miss!

Sunday, 1:00 p.m. EST: Karen and Jeremy -- Vanguard: Saga of Heroes
Vanguard is celebrating its fifth Anniversary, and Jeremy and Karen are on the scene to join in the festivities! They'll be in Ahgram to hang out with the SOE community team and talk about the game's past, present, and future.
