Discover the waterside town of Riverspring and Sarwyck Keep, the seat of the region's ruling family and abandoned home of Alester Sarwyck, one of the game's two main characters

IRVINE, CALIFORNIA -- FEBRUARY 2, 2012 -- ATLUS (Index Digital Media, Inc.), in collaboration with Cyanide Studios, today unlocked a new portion of the official website for "Game of Thrones™," an upcoming RPG based on the internationally bestselling book series A Song of Ice and Fire by George R. R. Martin and critically acclaimed HBO® television series, Game of Thrones®. Alongside new story details, character profiles, screenshots, and video content released as part of the website expansion, ATLUS also today confirmed that "Game of Thrones" would release on May 15 for Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, and PC.

The new section of the game's official website turns its focus to the troubled waterside town of Riverspring and Sarwyck Keep, the home of its ruling family. A vacant lordship and civil unrest greet Alester Sarwyck, one of the game's two main characters, as he returns home after a fifteen-year self-imposed exile. He arrives as the town mourns the passing of his father, the elder Lord Sarwyck, forcing Alester to consider reclaiming rule of Riverspring and restoring order to his lordship.

Riverspring, a new town created exclusively for the video game, joins key areas around the Seven Kingdoms that players will explore. Fans craving to know more about Alester, Sarwyck Keep, and the town of Riverspring can visit the official website for the "Game of Thrones" RPG and check out the wealth of new content. The update also includes a new video trailer that provides a brief preview of the story and struggles that await players in this disquieted river town. Both the "Riverspring" and previously released "The Wall" sections of the official site feature quests through which visitors can unlock exclusive media!

"Game of Thrones" is currently scheduled to release on May 15, 2012 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. For more information, visit http://gameofthrones-thegame.com. Expect frequent news updates, content additions, and more between now and the game's release!
