Toshiba might have missed the summer vacationers by just a bit, but with the beautiful fall season just around the corner in the US, it's that period to introduce a new Camileo to the group. This time out it's the follow-up to the company's rather colorful BW10 from last year. Enter the adequately named BW20. Aside from nabbing a numerical bump on its moniker, the BW20 brings the same 1080p video recording found on its predecessor, plus improved waterproof capabilities that now allow the camcorder to handle up to 16 feet below water. IRVINE, Calif. - Sept. 19, 2012 - Toshiba's Digital Products Division (DPD), a division of Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc., today announced the latest addition to its popular CAMILEO® digital camcorder line, the CAMILEO® BW20 HD Waterproof Camcorder. Effective up to 16 feet under water, resistant to dust and shockproof to withstand accidental drops of up to five feet, the CAMILEO BW20 offers both families and casual sports enthusiasts the versatility needed to capture their adventures. It produces brilliant Full HD 1080p quality videos and photos in even the most adverse conditions.

The BW20 features an f/2.2 aperture lens, 5 megapixel BSI CMOS sensor, and video image stabilization to allow users to capture video with greater clarity, even while underwater. The camcorder also allows users to easily share videos and images on YouTube®, Facebook, Picasa and TwitVid with the simple-to-use CAMILEO Uploader software or directly onto an HDTV via an HDMI® output port.
