Quakecon 2012 shakes up Dallas August 2-5
Grab your LEDs, fans, and whatever else you need to get your gaming rig ready to show off -- you only have until August 2! That's when QuakeCon will once again take over the Hilton Anatole Hotel in Dallas, with North America's largest LAN party. This year, expect it to be North America's densest concentration of irritating Skyrim jokes as well.
Those of us not taking part will be able to look forward to keynotes and other presentations, along with news and media relating to whatever is happening at iD Software -- which means Doom 4, as far as we know.

WHAT:
QuakeCon® is the ultimate video game festival and party. QuakeCon is open to the public and attendance is FREE thanks to the support of id® Software and Bethesda Softworks®, the QuakeCon volunteer staff, and the 2012 event sponsors and exhibitors.

QuakeCon will once again host North America's largest BYOC (Bring-Your-Own-Computer) LAN party, with thousands of gamers hooking their systems up to play on a world-class network.

Bethesda Softworks will offer the first chance anywhere for gamers to get their hands on upcoming titles, and the world's leading technology companies will be on hand to demonstrate their latest hardware and software.
