Go buy more Skylanders toys now
New Skylanders toys are available at retail today, which roughly translates to new DLC for the video game. The "Empire of Ice" Adventure Pack includes a new ice-themed area, along with a new Water-element toy (and character), Slam Bam.
Additionally, new standalone figures are available of the undead dragon Cynder, who has a "difficult past," and Double Trouble, an inept wizard. What's that? You want to know more about Cynder? According to Activision, "Cynder is a dragon of the undead element. New Skylanders Spyro's Adventure characters, Cynder and Double Trouble, along with a new adventure pack, Empire of Ice, are now available at major retailers.
Kids can bring Cynder, Double Trouble and Slam Bam to life in the Skylanders Spyro's Adventure video game or at the Skylanders Spyro's Universe web world available at the following URL: http://universe.skylanders.com/.
Cynder is a dragon of the undead element. Dark powers flow through her due to her difficult past, but she's trying to make amends with the other Skylanders. Her Spectral Lightning and Shadow Dash attacks can later be upgraded to the more sinister Cynder Flight, Black Lightning and Shadow Reach attacks.
Double Trouble, once an adept spellcaster, is from the magic element. His spells can be clumsy and misdirected, but he has plenty of ways to beat the baddies, including his Eldritch Beam and his exploding clones.
Last, Slam Bam comes with the Empire of Ice Adventure Pack and is of the water element. This yeti-abominable-snowman-looking guy has powerful Yeti Fists and Ice Prison attacks when bothered by bad guys.
Skylanders Spyro's Adventure is now available at retailers for Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PC and 3DS.
