Who doesn't know Nietzsche's famous quote about the abyss? When you look into an abyss, the abyss entices you to buy some stuff in the cash shop. It was something like that, anyway.
Today's breathtaking featured screenshot of a character meditating before an abyss originated in none other than The Secret World. Submitter Aedesius wrote to One Shots,
I've really been enjoying TSW; it's like a breath of fresh air and such a beautiful-looking game. Enjoy this screenshot of one of many amazing vistas in TSW.

Looking for a different kind of vista? Repeat-One-Shotter Rob from London sent us this image from Star Trek Online. It's easy to forget that STO has non-space adventure areas but for reminders like this one! Says Rob, "Severin Rex, my Trill admiral, is taking a quiet moment to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of a new world."
Finally, a Perpetuum Online player named Doek sent us this shot of his corporation's Gamma base on his mates' own terraformed island. "One of our favorite activities is testing out our defenses," he says, and who better to test them on but recruits? "The turrets take care of the rest. We're always there to take measurements, because, well, Science™."
