Community Blog Topic: What's your most and least favorite expansions?

I have a confession to make. When it comes to World of Warcraft, I'm pretty easy to please. Every time a new expansion comes out, that's my favorite one. Even and especially Cataclysm. I know it's not a popular opinion, but I loved the old world revamp and going through the questlines like Silverpine Forest still makes me happy.

So my current favorite expansion is Mists of Pandaria. I love the monk class. I love the pandaren. I love the epic quest lines and the farm and pet battles and ... the list goes on. Though the Brawler's Guild isn't my cup of tea, I love watching The Spousal Unit battle it out against the various contenders.

I don't have a least favorite expansion. They all have good qualities. I'm not fond of Outland now, but I was when BC came out and I very much like both new races and their stories. I'm tired of questing through Northrend on my many alts now, but I found the entire Arthas story very compelling and still find the Wrath opening cinematic my favorite. I guess vanilla (though not technically an expansion) would be my least favorite if only because so many quality of life changes have been made since then. But I still loved it at the time.

What about you? What's your favorite expansion and what do you like most about it? What's your least favorite expansion and why? Has an expansion made you leave and not come back until the next one?
