GameStop halts PS4 pre-orders
GameStop has no more PlayStation 4 pre-orders to give, Anakin. Game Informer obtained confirmation yesterday from the retailer's communications department that "due to high demand" the company isn't currently taking additional reservations. This applies to both retail stores and GameStop's online portal.
Those interested in knowing when more units will become available can submit their email address on GameStop's website. Amazon still has launch day bundles with games available, but concluded its allocation of standalone launch day consoles a while back.
We aren't saying the PlayStation 4 is going to be hard to get this holiday just yet, but if you're interested in having one, it's probably best to lock it down before people who don't read gaming news sites every day catch on.
