The Queue: Azathoth Choppers

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Mike Sacco will be your host today.

Vote for which motorcycle you want in the game: the cosmic horror bike, or the seething nuclear chaos bike! Also, despair!

BrianLuzovich asked:

do you think we will eventually see hearthstone for cell phones? and would there an offline play mode?

There are definitely Android and iPhone versions of Hearthstone coming; Blizzard announced it not too long ago. As for offline mode, I highly doubt it. It appears to be an online-only game and all of its systems tie into that.

RufusHonkerIV asked:

Is it just me, or was Pandaria not busy enough on its west coast? Almost everything seems to be in the center or the East, I have almost zero reason to go west.

Well, the west coast is primarily mantid territory, which, you know...not exactly a tourist destination. It makes sense that the more populated areas would be farthest away from GIANT BUG ZONE.

JasonStillwater asked:

Is it me or does it seem like the WoD models for the weapons/armor that were datamined on mmochamp look almost exactly like MoP models, only slightly altered? What happened to expansions having their own unique look and feel to them? Especially since we're going to a unique planet, you would think it would give them room to explore and make unique and alien looking weapons, not stuff that're just variations of old content. It feels lazy to me.

It's you. Those are all new models.

demon.within.x asked:

So the other night (the 17th) I was playing HS and I had the win 7 games to get 100 G daily. 5 out of the 7 games I won were from people quitting not even half way through the game when it could have gone either way. Did this happen to anyone else or was this some kind of fluke

Seems likely that there was some kind of server problem that was booting people off. Either that or you're very, very intimidating.

Fizzl asked:

Do you think (or know) if Blizzard ever gives any kind of priority Beta inviting to previous Beta testers who took the time to give feedback? Or vise-versa, de-prioritizes those who've gotten into one before but didn't give any sort of feedback?

(I know news sites and well-known players usually get invites, but I'm talking about the average, randomly-invited players)

I think it's kind of a crapshoot, honestly. Blizzard has said that they like to reward good testers, but it seems like invites are mostly geared toward employees, friends & family, press & fansites, and opt-ins, in that order. My guess is that your odds of getting into any particular phase beyond alpha is mostly chance rather than based on your excellent testing behavior. Don't let that deter you from giving lots of feedback if you do get in, though.
