Drinkbox lobs Mutant Blobs at Xbox 360 and PS3 this week

The amorphous antics of a burgeoning one-eyed blob can no longer be confined to just the PlayStation Vita. Drinkbox, which is now better known for its spirited Wrestlevania game, Guacamelee, has announced a new version of Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack, coming to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 this week.

The game follows an irritable blob as it squeezes through pipes, wallows through cities and swallows everything in its path, with B-movie style destruction paired with an upbeat soundtrack and Drinkbox's sense of style and speed.

Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack will be available on PlayStation 3 in North America today and in Europe tomorrow. The Xbox 360 will get it in America and Europe tomorrow as well, with both versions running $7.99/€6.99/£5.49. Owners of the PlayStation Vita version can purchase a PS3 "upgrade bundle" for $3.99/€2.99/£2.39, additionally gaining the game's soundtrack, some avatars and themes.
